NEVER AGAIN! Our family was disappointed in our stay at this hotel. The check in service was not accommodating to my husband’s needs as he needed to refrigerate his medicine and administer his shot timely. We requested an early check in but she was rude to my husband but once I arrived she happen to have the keys for the room. This was done intentional for sure. The bellman was rude and our clothes were wet due to the rain and not being in an appropriate area. The food, entertainment, music and the property was horrible and unkept. The restaurants had a no reservation policy which was not true because a guest bought a $500 bottle of wine and he got reservations. Never mind, they had no way to let you know your table was available so you had to hang out around the hostess waiting for her to let you in. It wasn’t until my mother asked her about the guy and his reservation did she even let us in. It’s like they want you to leave and go to the buffet but that food was horrible. The selections was minimal and ordering certain things would take long. I ordered ice tea and left it took so long. The only acceptable food was the cafe. The music at the pool was all white and no variety for other cultures, the club played videos from the 70’s and 80’s which was considered the dj music. They could have played pandora and did better. The storm ruined the entertainment or lack of. The rooms had leaks from the air conditioner. All around bad experience and I do not recommend this hotel.

My birthday was made extremely social because of the care of the amazing staff at Dreams. They went above and beyond to make our stay not only comfortable but memorable! Gustavo took such good care of us! 10/10 will come back again.

I would say this is a 2 maybe 3 if you paid extra for a nicer room like I did. Super dirty to even consider a 4 star. Went to Dreams with a group for a birthday celebration. The visit was less than 3 stars for our whole review. We are members at another resort, but decided to stay here with the group. The pros, our room was ready we arrive, on the 3rd floor, and clean. The gym was nice and the pools great! Cons, the room was never cleaned, except the day we arrived/left (4 nights), the trash wasn’t taken out, had to ask for fridge to be stocked, room service food is the worst (meaning super cold and took over an hour. Had to call each time. They will always say “45 minutes”, when you call they say, ” oh it just left the kitchen”, and it takes another 20). The front desk persons were rude beyond belief to our friend, and unprofessional (especially to women). Male front desk/bartenders were completely disrespectful to females and only engaged with male counterparts. The drinks are highly watered down, but that’s any resort that’s not five star. The overall experience, below what you’re paying for. Outside looks amazing, but food and service was lacking. I would recommended doing more researching and staying elsewhere. We paid for more than what I feel we received.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Staff made up for any shortcomings. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food though the selection was not vast. With that said, I was surprised there wasn’t a dedicated Mexican food area…really think you’d kill it with a Mexican Street food vendor option. Like walk up grab a taco or burrito and keep it moving. Especially for folks like us that booked this trip purely to stay at the hotel. (There were Mexican food options, just not a dedicated restaurant. Baja Tacos at the Seaside Grill were delicious…and we ate them multiple times) Drinks were good but weak. The facilities were overall very pleasing visually. You felt like you were on vacation in a nice place. With that said, would have loved for the indoor dining options to be cooled better. They were always a little humid. The room itself was always cold and the bathrooms by the lobby were ice cold (if you get there early and need a break from the heat…go take a long bathroom break lol) My main issue with our experience was the condition of our actual room. Please see photos. Broken/loose bathroom faucet, sink that took forever to drain, bathroom lights that were burnt out and visible mold on shower tiles. Also there was an ac issue that caused water to drip from the ceiling in our closet. So not great…but we were happy otherwise so we didn’t complain. But I would recommend a reno of the rooms in the future.
